The World Is Back To Normal!!!

Finally things are starting to go back to normal. It is such a relief that everything is returning back to normal because it would become more and more difficult for families or anyone in the world to be able to live with the conditions we are going through. Now I know why the world is so dependent on oil. The reason being is because for the food their needs to be some type of transportation because some of the foods comes from different places around the world and some are right here in California. And the gas from cars, the oil spill, etc., these things were reaching to a point where it would become harder and harder for people. I learned it was harder, but now I'm relieved the world is back to the way it was. We as the community need to start making changes for the example, the amount of electricity we use, the water usage, etc. We need to measure ourselves in what we buy or do, b doing this we save our Earth and we also save ourselves. What I'm going to do is unplug the connections before I leave my house, I will recycle more, walk more. I think by showing others how by changing what they do al the time is better for themselves and for the Earth as well because without the Earth there would be no people. The world needs to be normal was before and now again.

OH NO!!!! IT'S AN OIL SPILL!!!!

My life was going good until I heard on the news something so horrible it makes me very sad and mad. It was an oil spill! All that I could think of was the poor animals that are suffering from it. The poor animals are suffering because of someone elses mistake. Some of these animals are dying because of the oil spill. How could have someone let this happen? I now know how the GREENPEACE feel, because they have to hear about the damages the oil is causing to the water and the animals. This oil spill is going to cause taxpayers so many problems. This is going to effect more the environment because the oil is destroying what was once natural. The oil spill is causing shortages to businesses. This oil spill is mainly effecting the endangered species. How can we fix this? These animals need to be saved or they'll end up like this.

The Struggle Without Oil

What is happening? Our community is struggling! How can we be able to be in this situation? The businesses around my community that are closing down are restaurants, circuit city, Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug, Catherine's, Eddie Bauer, La Cache, Talbots, J. Jill/Talbots Women's Store, etc. Why are these businesses closing down? How can they close down? Thousands of people lost their jobs because of this! I have ideas to try to get some jobs back for people, but how can I if no one in my community is willing to try it? It has to be a group thing, that why we are called a community. Or is there another definition of community? What I'm trying to do is keep moving forward because I lost my job. Yes, I am not going to lie is it hard sometimes because jobs are so limited, they is hardly any jobs left for anyone else. The only way I could get from one place to another is by walking, catching a ride with a friend, taking the bus or taking the train. How else would I get to places? I'm not going to be sitting around waiting for things to happen. Things do not happen like, because if I want something done I have to do it myself. The way I get place to place is by walking or taking my bike, by walking it might take some time but hey I'm getting to the places I want to go to. And the bike gets me there a little more faster.

Oh No, No Food!!

I CANNOT live without food! Food is what keeps me going, it gives me energy. How can someone live without food? It's crazy, the one thing I love the most is strawberries and lemon and there running out! How can that be possible?! And to make it even more worse, it's harder for the transportation because it will cost more to transport the food to local markets. It's harder for me to find fresh food because having fresh food is good for me and it keeps me healthy. How can I stay healthy if there is no local fresh food? I have to search for local fresh food like vegetables, fruit, meat, etc. near my house, but it seems that in the stores that would normally have it, no longer have it because of the oil shortage the food is starting to become a shortage as well. OH NO!!

The Effects of Life

NO GAS! It's a social and economic effect, why? Because I have no gas which means I can't travel anywhere, I have to walk place to place and it would take long to get there. I can't take the bus or cab because there is NO GAS! The only thing I could do is walk, or run but I prefer to walk. There's no more airline flights because there is no gas to put into the airplanes. How would we travel to other countries? Now that is too long of a walk to travel! My feet will hurt to walk that far! The things I have to give up! Oh my god! Living without my car is horrible because it's harder to travel to places. When I go to the market I have to walk sometimes and it gets harder for because I have to carry so many groceries and it gets heavier to walk with all those bags. Can you imagine how hard it is for me? I'm 5ft 3in., that's short but not too short. ^-^ But honestly, I get tired walking all the time, yeah you get exercise out of it but at the same time you do get tired of it. That is why we need OIL! I try to use what I have because how else would I be able to travel to places. If the oil shortage continues like this I'm afraid that there might not be any food, water, power, etc. What would I eat? Will I have any lights in my house? How are others reacting to this? I don't think others are too prepared to lose food, water, power. I'm starting to get things that I know I need in order to survive because why would I buy more clothes if I already have some clothes? I don't need extra because I already have some, I need to start thinking what is that I need to survive and stop buying things that I want and instead buying things that I need.

Life of Supply & Demand

What does supply & demand mean to you?
To me supply means the amount of products that producers as entrepreneur create for the people. And demand is what the people want. What really surprised me from the quiz was the real income effect. Why you say? Well, I'm suprised of that because I didn't really know why the real income gets effected. Now I do, reason being is because you would think it would effect other things but not so much the income.

Shortage of Oil

When I heard on the news about the shortage of oil, I became worried because the oil helped create my clothes by the synthetic fiber. My clothes started to become less and less everyday. What would I wear? What would cover my body? I was getting more worried by the minute because I NEED clothes! Clothes is like food, how could I survive without it. The clothes is what keeps me warm, it's what keeps covered from revealing to others.
